In June 2017 we're studying the book of Nehemiah:
This Sunday is Week 1 of our 'Famous Last Words' series.
Jesus made seven statements from the cross to which Charles Spurgeon said: "These solemn sentences have shone like seven golden candlesticks or seven great stars."
We all long to encounter the Almighty God. The one who is so incredibly powerful, yet who invites us to call Him Abba, Father.
These 7 spiritual practices are about stepping away from something, or laying something down, or abandoning something, so that we can make room in our lives for the Lord to work.
Small groups are a key part of our life together as a church family. They are a time and place where there is extra opportunity to discuss, pray and share with one another around the Word of God. God calls us to come into His house with thanksgiving and to be faithful in meeting together.
In 2016 we are going on a journey of discovering and experiencing what it means to Encounter God together. Praise God because He is so wonderful, yet so approachable. We need not fear Him, but can rejoice in His presence, soaking in the fullness of His blessings, love and acceptance.
The moment you walk into this community, you see that we are a church family with a wide range of people, from young to old. We are blessed with many kids, praise God. I have over the years heard many say that the kids are the church of tomorrow.
